BORING (BUT USEFUL) STUFF
Safety: Each toy is made accordingly to The EU En 72 toy safety standard which meets or exceeds the United States and Canadian safety requirements for newborn and children’s toys and are tested by a certified third-party facility. The yarn, the stuffing and the eyes used in making each toy have been additionally tested to be safe and non-toxic.
Care: This toy can be machine washed on the gentle cycle, but we recommend you hand-wash your animal and lay it flat to dry to help preserve the puppet's shape and detail.

ABOUT THE COMPANY
Bebemoss was founded by a French expat living Istanbul, Turkey. She is a mother of three and a self-proclaimed accidental social entrepreneur.
They are what we call a not-JUST-for-profit company. BebeMoss provides sustainable jobs with fair pay to stay-at-home mothers. Most of the women live in the outskirts of Istanbul and in most cases, they have no other chance to make money. Many of the Moms are refugees from Syria, working hard to provide necessities for their families while they rebuild their lives in a new country.
Bebemoss empowers a community of moms in need to produce toys. They created a safe, happy and kids friendly environment, for Moms to work in. Their warm workshop welcomes the Moms and their little ones who have a dedicated play area. Knitters work flexible hours depending on their needs and they can even work from home, this enables them to better balance their other chores and family life.
“Working with refugee and underprivileged mothers is a life-changing experience, it got me right out of my comfortable and privileged expat life bubble into the harsh reality. It helped me understand the challenges faced by those families. As a parent, I firmly believe that each kid should have enough food, the opportunity to learn and an environment to thrive.
