If that's not enough to convince you... It's made of re-used stone. Really. Leftover stone from local industries is transformed into paper in a process that uses no water or chemicals and runs on solar energy. It’s one of the cleanest processes we know. How does it perform? The naturally white paper has no grain direction resulting in a frictionless, silky-smooth writing experience. Once you’ve tried it, you won’t ever want to go back. It is also waterproof, tear-resistant and wrinkle-free. Better for you, better for the environment.
It also has a handy pocket in the back, and the prerequisite ribbon for keeping your place. We offer this eco-friendly A5 notebook in four colors: dusty rose, pomegranate, charcoal black, and grass green. Presently, we only carry the dotted version. Let us know if you prefer lined or blank.
P.S. We invested in a case of these when we first opened our doors, but they never made it to our site because Jennifer used every single one. So, you might say these were super-vetted.

WHAT DOES IT REPLACE? The traditional paper industry is notoriously dirty. Not only does it contribute to deforestation, but the process of converting wood to paper is energy-intensive, wastes tons of water, and pollutes the environment with harmful chemicals.
BORING (BUT USEFUL) STUFF Number of pages: 144 Size: A5, 6'' W x 8.5'' H X .5" D
Geeky Insight: Jennifer burns through these notebooks. With 144 pages, it takes her approximately 4 months. Each day she marks the left side page with the date and lists her to do's. The right side top quarter reserved for her daily notes of gratitude, focus, stuff within her control, and people she's holding heart space for. The rest is for notes. It's really everything you need a in notebook. And it's sturdy. The spine never wobbles. When you shift from a traditional paper notebook the only difference you'll notice at first is how fast the ink dries. Since it's not absorbent like paper, you'll want to stick to fine to medium points, and if you use a fountain pen, you'll want to use a fine tip. Other than that small difference, you'll find this notebook superior in all ways.
END OF LIFE Please Recycle
MATERIALS 80% Stone Pulp 20% Recycled and BPA-FREE HDPE. Printed with soy ink.
The Stone Paper factory uses leftovers that it gets from a neighboring construction industry — mainly limestone and marble — which it crushes into a fine calcium carbonate powder. Calcium carbonate is a completely natural product that is abundant on the earth and used in many industries. It can be found in a range of everyday products such as toothpaste, medicine and baby powder.
The calcium carbonate powder (80%) is mixed with recycled, BPA-free, non-toxic, high-density polyethylene (HDPE) — a material that can be recycled almost indefinitely — to create small white pellets the size of candy. The pellets are squeezed into a material that resembles traditional paper. The process uses no water, acids, or bleaches and is powered by solar energy.

ABOUT THE COMPANY A Good Co. was co-founded by Anders Ankarlid, the company's CEO. Here are a few highlights from this uber-eco Swedish company: We exist to create elegant, thoughtful and sustainable everyday products We refuse to take shortcuts, and we obsess over every single step in the journey of our products, from how they are made to how they end up on your doorstep. We always walk the extra mile to improve our products and our processes, to ensure that we always are as responsible as we humanly can be. What’s climate-positive you ask? Simply put, it means that we offset all carbon emissions from the production of each notebook using carbon capture programs such as tree planting. But we don’t just cancel them out, we go a step further to capture more than is emitted, so each notebook has a negative carbon footprint. Now that’s something to be positive about.
