FLAVORS
Black Fig Pistachio: An elevated spin on the classic fruit, nut and chocolate pairing. This experience, in 72% Peruvian cacao, unites chewy California mission figs with crunchy pistachios. Vegan. GF. 

Crisp Quinoa Sesame: An unexpected blend of Peruvian cacao (47%) milk chocolate with quinoa and toasted sesame. The quinoa is puffed under low heat, glazed in blue agave to seal the texture, plus toasted sesame seeds, creating a milk chocolate experience that leans more savory than sweet. GF.

Edamame Sea Salt: Inspired by Asian Fusion cuisine, crunchy, toasted edamame merges with  creamy cacao (47%) milk chocolate and fine sea salt. The result is a perfect balance of sweet and savory tasting notes with a nutty texture. GF.

Himalayan Salt + Toffee:Bits of English-style toffee with salt mined from ancient sea salt deposits in theHimalayan Mountains in a cacao (47%) milk chocolate. GF.

Orange Blossom Espresso: Deeply aromatic orange oil melts into notes of creamy espresso, a hint of black tea and cloves, and 61% Peruvian dark cacao. Vegan. GF.

Peruvian Dark w/ Cacao Nibs: Smooth, creamy, and well-balanced. Contains nibs from the same Peruvian cacao beans, roasted to a nutty perfection for a delicious crunch. 72% Peruvian cacao. Vegan. GF.

WHAT DOES IT REPLACE?
Big corporate chocolate (think Nestle & Hershey) that pay little attention to taste, produces over-processed bars with questionable additives, and have been called-out for sourcing from suppliers regularly using child labor. And, while your Snickers may give you a quick fix, it does nothing for the greater good. Sorry, don't mean to sound preachy here. You do good when you vote with your dollars.

For all varieties:The cacao origin is Rupa-Rupa, Upper Amazon region of Peru. The beans are fermented 7 days, dried 7 days with a medium roast. 

Black Fig Pistachio:
72% cacao dark chocolate (cracked cacao beans, organic cane sugar, cocoa butter, sunflower lecithin), pistachio, organic black fig, cocoa powder, sea salt.

Crisp Quinoa Sesame:
47% cacao milk chocolate (cracked cacao beans, cane sugar, whole milk powder, cocoa butter, sunflower lecithin), glazed quinoa (cane sugar, quinoa, blue agave, rice syrup, salt), toasted sesame, sea salt.

Edamame Sea Salt:

Note: Seattle Chocolate Company's chocolates are Gluten free per FDA guidelines. We do use the same machines for making chocolate items containing gluten as those without gluten, however, after each run of product with gluten, we thoroughly clean the machines and conduct tests that detect the presence of gluten.

Packaging is carefully crafted with a focus on sustainability; we use recyclable papers, and water and vegetable-based inks and coatings.

Since 1991, Seattle Chocolate Company has created its signature melt-away truffles and truffle bars in the heart of the Pacific Northwest. The original chocolate factory was destroyed by the 2001 Nisqually Earthquake, but entrepreneur, mother, and investor Jean Thompson has never been one to turn down a challenge. Our chocolate is thoughtfully crafted from farm to finish. You can feel good about eating the bars from Seattle Chocolate Company because every aspect of our craft – from the origin of our cocoa beans to the innovative flavor inclusions – is carefully curated and chosen to meet our rigid quality standards.

Working directly with a small, local Peruvian chocolate maker ensures full traceability and sustainable farming practices - and the best flavor profile possible. To preserve these practices for many years to come, we pay our farmers substantially above the industry average for fine cacao. By supporting origin cacao from small farms, you’re helping ensure a thriving future for farmers - and chocolate in general.

 We continue to adopt other sustainable sourcing practices including eliminating palm kernel oil whose production is associated with serious environmental impact; all of our products now use the more healthful coconut oil. At Seattle Chocolate Company we compost all of our chocolate waste, diverting nearly 20 tons of waste from our nation’s landfills each year. Even our packaging is carefully crafted with a focus on sustainability; we use recyclable papers, and water and vegetable-based inks and coatings.

In addition to our ethical trading practices, Seattle Chocolates creates small batch chocolate confections using only the highest quality all natural ingredients with no preservatives, additives or extenders. Seattle Chocolates is also moving toward 100% non-GMO ingredients. Currently the jcoco line is 100% non-GMO. Less than 1% of Seattle Chocolates’ more than one hundred products, currently include any GMO ingredients, and we are working diligently with our suppliers to verify each new ingredient. All of Seattle Chocolate Company bars and truffles are recognized internationally by the Safe Quality Food (SQF) Program and Kosher certified.

I really enjoyed this chocolate bar ! It’s dark , some crunch and all my chocolate addiction needed .

Seattle Chocolate Co. makes our mouth water with these fun premium chocolates... but it's their corporate responsibility that hugs our heart. 10% of their profits are donated to charities that help feed the hungry in the USA. Plus all of their packaging is either compostable or recyclable. Thanks for sharing your thoughts, if not your chocolate. ;)
