NO MORE PLASTIC BAGGIES!
We've tried a bunch of reusable and single-use, non-plastic bags (maybe you have, too?). These Porter Silicone Bags are pretty great. Why? There are many reasons (scroll below) but the first thing we love about them is that they're lighter weight than some of the bags we've tried. In other words, they're not that heavy duty, thick silicone of the first generation bags. AND there's no bar across the top to wrestle with to close them... just a zip. This is particularly great on hands that ache.
So once we established that we liked the feel, the weight and handling of these bags... we quickly noted that there's more to love. It's a better bag for cooking, freezing, steaming, preserving, storing, and sous-viding. Thoughtfully designed with curved corners so there’s nowhere for pesky buildup to hide. This bag is an easy-to-clean, hygienic workhorse tool. You'll find uses for it beyond food and cooking.
Plus, it's clear in the front (not foggy) and features an opaque grey slate back. Who says bags can't be stylish?
We're offering the the 'Stand Up' in two sizes: 36 oz. and 50 oz. Check out our 'flat' Porter bags in 10oz and 34oz here.
