First, the obvious. This strong tree with its ever reaching branches are symbolic of our lives, interpreted in as many ways as there are branches and leaves. At its most basic, it reminds us of our strength, our growth, and our beauty. You take it in whatever direction works for you...
Second, Jennifer's mother-in-law, Wende, makes these earrings. She's a bead zealot, and possibly certifiably crazy about making jewelry. She's known for spending every free moment uniting beads with ancient fossils and glorious opals. Her designs are delicate and intricate—and sought after. In addition and just for fun, Wende fabricates hundreds of pairs of earrings and bracelets and necklaces using charms and pendents and other cool finds. Mostly she sells them at the mammography clinic (she founded and retired from), and then donates the $ to breast cancer research. Recently, Wende started working with us on Fridays. Midway through her octogenarian years, she's our newest and wisest team member. She's efficient, focused, and loves to do the tedious projects—even though she has 10 times the brain power of anyone here. She knows the challenges of starting a business, so her counsel is priceless.
Back to the earrings... She recently made a few hundred of these Tree of Life earrings and asked if we would offer them on What's Good. "Heck Yes!" We'd be honored.
They're made of pewter (lead-free), which is more durable and hypoallergenic than other metals. She suggests wrapping them in a tissue, or cloth or jewelry box to keep them looking shiny and new. All sizes have lever backs.
Available in 'Silver" in small, medium, and large. And in 'Gold' in large and medium. She says, "Tell your customers... the small ones are the size of a dime, the medium a nickel, and the large a quarter." Makes sense to us. Enjoy and thanks for shopping with us.
