What is What’s Good Day? We believe the world needs more GOOD. With all the chaos and negativity in the world, wouldn’t it be GOOD to have a day when we recognize the good around us?
Take a moment to think about the good things in your day, from the smallest moments to your biggest wins. And if you’re willing, share them. But it’s okay to keep them to yourself, too. Either way, recognizing the good around us creates more good, in our humble opinion. Imagine if everyone did it on this one day. Imagine if it became a daily habit!
Why October 14? Simple: October 14 is a meaningful day for What’s Good because it’s my late mother’s birthday. It’s a day to remember her spirit and the foundation she gave me. To honor her further, instead of simply celebrating another year in business on this date, we work to promote What’s Good Day in hopes of inspiring something positive in the world. You can read more about our origin story here.
This year marks our seventh What’s Good Day celebration and our anniversary. Let’s celebrate together!
Is What’s Good Day official? It is to us! And perhaps someday it will be more widely recognized. We submitted an application to have it listed as a national day, but the cost kept us from moving forward. We intend to celebrate it every year anyway. We hope you do, too.
Share your good on our Facebook or Instagram page, or send us an email, and we’ll share it. Who knows… maybe someday our list of good will be so long that we’ll make it into Guinness World Records. 🙂
