  • Spring Nail Polish Trends

    March 11, 2022

    Spring Nail Polish Trends
To find out what nail polish colors are trending this spring, we connected with nail artist, Kelly Reinhardt for her predictions. Like us, she prefers USA-made LVX 10 toxin free and cruelty free vegan polish because it's healthier for her and the environment. To learn more about the hidden risks of 'regular' nail polish, read our previously published blog here.
Without further ado, here are Kelly's picks:

Greens are big this spring & summer (finally — it's my time!), so I predict green hues like OASIS & ARGONNE will be a hit.

Pastels are obviously a staple for spring: Sticking with the green theme, AVENAL might be the unlikely pastel hero for summer. It leans toward mint, just slightly creamier.

If green isn't your color, rest assured you can make a splash with pastel blues like CELESTE and CAICOS. And, of course, classic pinks like MILLENNIAL and PEONY will always be popular.

If you're familiar with Pantone color systems, you may know this giant of color  proclaimed Very Peri, a lovely purple, as their Color of the Year. If Pantone has any influence, purple will be everywhere this year! I think MELROSE mimics Very Peri pretty darn well, so I'm betting we see on lots of hands and toes. I like to mix and match my colors and even though Pantone isn't in the nail biz, I find their color combo charts helpful, find them here.

The BIGGEST thing in nails for spring/summer '22 is going to be nudes like BUFF, TRUFFLE, or a slightly cooler grey like MINERAL.

The other up-and-coming trend is animal prints (OMG yes!)...so def add LIVID to your mix for zebra stripes or leopard spots (try it over Truffle). Or if you're crazy like me, you could do all of your spots in green (my favorite!) or in blues and purples! Whatever you choose, have fun. Experiment. Enjoy.
