WHAT DOES IT REPLACE?Non-recycled aluminum foil.
The goal here is to use aluminum foil sparingly because it's so resource intensive and takes about 400 years to break down. The worst is using it to store food, one because it's not good to keep your food in it, and two because most folks end up throwing out the food with the aluminum foil. Try glass storage containers to store your left overs, use glass or stainless or parchment paper in the oven, and instead of wrapping your food on the grill choose from a variety of grill accessories that won't let the veggies escape. When you do use it, use 100% recycled, and then wash it (or it put it in the dishwasher), reuse it or recycle it.
PACKAGING
100% recycled paper board processed chlorine free (PCF). Printed using vegetable based inks and dyes as a substitute for petroleum based inks. This reduces the amount of VOCs released into the air during printing.

ABOUT THE COMPANY
If You Care brand was created in 1990 and started with unbleached coffee filters. If You Care had the first and only unbleached coffee filters in North America at that time. Parchment Baking Paper and Baking Cups soon followed, both unbleached as well. There was no other brand in the North American market offering brown chlorine-free paper products.
If You Care products are produced with a view to reducing the amount of waste in our waste streams. If possible, nothing should remain after the product has been used and properly disposed of. The packaging is made from unbleached recycled cardboard or paper which should be recycled again.
