  • Beeswax Bread Wrap | Spring Blooms

PLANET FRIENDLY ALTERNATIVE TO PLASTIC WRAP.
Inspired by the lake shores of northern Minnesota, this husband and wife team hope you'll chose their beeswax wraps over plastic wrap and containers.. for your health and to keep all shores clear of plastic.

Beeswax wraps keep foods fresher longer because beeswax and jojoba oil contain natural antibacterial properties and allow the wraps to breathe a bit. Most importantly, no petroleum chemicals will be touching your food, or ending up in a landfill or ocean. And because they're reusable, these are a greater value than buying plastic baggies.

This larger size is made for wrapping bread of all sizes. And at 17" X 21", it's a force to be reckoned with! Beyond the loaf,  this will wrap just about anything you throw at it—a bag full of spinach, a batch of biscuits or muffins, or a bunch of celery. You could also use it to cover big dishes. So many good uses! Check out all sizes of beeswax wraps here.

Lifetime: Beeswax wraps are typically reusable for a year (depending on use), and then can easily be composted.

TIP! Used spent wraps as fire starters.

    The SHŌR Mission
Roughly half of the plastic produced each year is designed for single-use products. Our goal is to reduce dependency on single-use plastic in kitchens by providing people with a better product.

We are a husband and wife team who hand-make beeswax wraps to use as an alternative to plastic wrap. These wraps are a staple in our kitchen and not only do they add beauty; they provide the satisfaction of ridding our shelves of another disposable product.

We live on the shore of a beautiful lake in northern Minnesota. Our family loves the water and we want to do our small part to work toward all shores being plastic free. This may not happen in a day, but why not take another step?
