    Rethink your trash, for good.
Regardless of what’s in there, these trash bags can do a world of good. Let’s break it down: conventional trash bags never go away. Made with plants, these trash bags break down into carbon and water, leaving no trace of microplastics. Ideal for small trash cans in the bathroom, office, kids’ room, or laundry room*. Designed for maximum strength, tear and leak resistance. Certified by BPI to rapidly compost in municipal or commercial composting facilities.

*We put one of these tough bags in a 5 gallon bucket, fit snuggly and fine.

    GEEK STUFF

    Why Use Compostable Trash Bags?
Approximately 80 million tons of waste (U.S. EPA figures) which goes to landfill annually is material which under the right conditions, can be turned into compost, including food scraps, yard trimmings and non-recyclable paper. In a landfill environment, this trapped organic material (leaves, grass etc.) releases methane gas – a greenhouse gas – contributing to global warming. Diverting food scraps and yard trimmings from landfill to compost facilities – either municipal or commercial in areas where available – contributes significantly to preserving our planet and natural resources.

    What is BPI Certification?
BPI is the leading authority on compostable products and packaging in North America. All products certified by BPI meet ASTM standards for compostability, are subject to eligibility criteria around the connection to food scraps and yard trimmings, meet limits for total fluorine (PFAS), and must display the BPI Certification Mark. BPI’s certification program operates in conjunction with education and advocacy efforts designed to help keep food scraps and other organics out of landfills.

    MATERIALS
Made with PLA (a biobased plastic) and PBAT (a biodegradable plastic).

Polylactic Acid (PLA) is made from renewable green eco-friendly bioplastic polymer, which is typically produced through the extraction and fermentation of starch from plants such as corn, sugar beets, cassava and sugarcane.

Polybutylene Adipate Terephthalate (PBAT) is a biodegradable random copolymer biobased polymer that is both flexible and tough. A good alternative material to use in place of conventional low-density polyethylene that is made from oil or natural gas.

    PACKAGING
    100% recycled and plastic-free.

    SOURCE
    Responsibly made in China.

    CERTIFICATIONS
Certified by BPI to rapidly compost in municipal or commercial composting facilities.

    ABOUT THE COMPANY
Full Circle Home was founded in an effort to educate consumers on their responsibility to leave the earth a better place than they found it. We make beautiful home care products from safe and sustainable materials to benefit this and future generations.

By creating sustainable home care products that are beautifully designed, functionally innovative, and responsibly produced, Full Circle guides families through each step of their sustainability journey - inspiring and educating the next generation to live a more eco-friendly life and preserve the world we all share. Our manufacturing process is designed to preserve resources and reduce waste while creating long-lasting products from safe materials.

As a company, we believe that everything we do should be done sustainably. Full Circle is a plastic-neutral company. This means that for every ounce of plastic we use, an ounce of plastic is collected from the environment - and recycled into social plastics - through our partnership with plastic bank.

When it comes to responsible sourcing and production, the folks who work in our factories are just as important to us as long-lasting and sustainable products. We’re Full Circle, after all, meaning that we’re all in this together. Having our factories close to the source of materials we use helps minimize our impact from start to finish. From recycling waste to ensuring safer, happier, greener work environments, we work hard to make sure we’re responsible every step of the way.
