100% plastic scrubs and sponges.

MATERIALS
Soft sponge portion is made from natural wood cellulose. The scrubbing surface is made from a combination of recycled PET and natural sisal fibers.
NOTE: We are disappointed that these have a small amount of recycled plastic in the scrub part. We are thrilled they are using recycled plastic, as it makes sense to reuse, but will likely not be restocking these sponges.

Our story begins with the fascination for these living creatures: In 1897, Gustav Croll and Theodor Denecke decided to import raw natural sponges from the Greek Mediterranean to Bremen and refine them here by hand. We still do this today – but in the meantime we have expanded our product range to include sustainable spa and household products.
