Proudly making soap dishes in the US since 2012! In 2011 my family was forced to shut down our custom cabinet business following the sudden tragic death of my father and employer. My skill sets in construction and custom cabinetry were worthless at that time of economic recession. I began taking all of the remnant lumber from the cabinet shop and turning it into "gifty" wood products - toy building blocks, wood puzzles/games, drink coasters, etc... - and I was frequenting local farmers markets trying to find a niche product to produce. I happened to be set up next to a soap maker at one of these farmers markets. We got to talking, and she began to show me pictures of wood soap dishes made in China and sold on Amazon. She asked if I could duplicate them. Fast forward 12 years and we are now the largest manufacturer of wood soap dishes in the United States.
