Baguette Bread Bag — Cool Grey

Organic Cotton. Social Good.

You'll fall for these bags because they're lovely. But you'll use them and gift because they're amazing (and plastic-free!). And... you'll feel good about it because at the root, is a company committed to doing good for their community.

Storing baguettes in breathable bags preserves the crispy quality of fresh bread and improves the quality of day-old bread when making delicious bruschetta, panzanella, croutons etc.

Imagine the next time you're invited to dinner with family or friends, showing up with a fresh baguette lovingly wrapped in this hand-printed, artsy bag, that—if you're nice—you can leave behind as a hostess gift. Seriously, you'll want to buy one for you and a handful for gifts.

Based in Cape Town South Africa, Spaza's functional handmade products are made by women in home industries, empowering care givers to earn an income while remaining available at home for their families and present in their communities.

ABOUT THE COMPANY
Spaza designs functional everyday household items guided by environmental kindness and the upliftment of people.

Spaza (pronounced spawzah) is a South African township word for an informal shop selling everyday items, usually from home.

Based in Cape Town South Africa, Spaza's functional handmade products are made by women in home industries, empowering care givers to earn an income while remaining available at home for their families and present in their communities.

Founded by Julia Schaffer in 2013, the designs are inspired by Julia’s daily tasks and a need for alternatives to disposable household items. The products are designed by Julia with careful consideration for the natural, sustainable, raw materials that are locally available.

If it feels familiar, its sister company is Halo. And yes, we sell their covers.
