BORING (BUT USEFUL) STUFF
Here are the ways you can use these light oils:
Beard — After a shower or while beard is damp, apply several drops to the palm of your hand (amounts vary based on beard fullness, length and hair texture) then rub into the body of the beard, taking care to fully coat the beard from skin to end.
Face — To nourish your skin and smooth fine lines, warm 2-3 drops in hand and gently massage into face.
Shaving Oil — After a shower apply a layer to softened stubble of the face (legs, underarms, etc.) and pass razor slowly (with the grain) over the hair until smooth.
Cleanser — Using dry clean hands apply 1 dropper full of oil and warm in palm of hands, massage into skin, use small circular motion Add water and keep massaging. Rinse with warm water.
Scent Details
Williamsburg — Cedarwood, Ylang Ylang and Ho wood. Smells woodsy with hints of vanilla, smoke and tobacco.
Red Hook — West Indies bay leaf, Cardamom, Bergamot and Elemi. This scent is based off of an old school old bay rum recipe, this smells like your classic spiced, bay based product. A big hit with those who are nostalgic for what their fathers or grandparents might have worn.
Fort Greene — Juniper berry, Rosemary, Lavender and Bergamot. Smells like fresh and crisp greens with hints of Gin, slightly herbaceous and woodsy with notes of earl grey and lavender.
Anchor — Palo Santo, Blood orange, Himalayan cedarwood. Palo Santo is the dominant smell. It's truly difficult to describe. Notes of Balsam resins, woods and citrus. This scent will smell different in the bottle and after applied to the skin, it's long lasting and lovely. Blended with subtle hints of blood orange essential oil and rounded out with balancing Himalayan cedar wood which is slightly sweet and smoky. Many people use this scent as their daily cologne.

ABOUT THE COMPANY
Mckenzie Santiago started experimenting with natural skincare and grooming products in 2005, and officially founded Brooklyn Grooming in her small NYC kitchen in 2012.
“When I started, I was really searching for men’s products for myself. I prefer scents that are traditionally associated with men’s grooming products: they’re earthy and sexy, complex yet subtle. As I started digging into ingredients and research, I was shocked to find that the majority of conventional grooming and skincare products are loaded with fillers and dangerous chemicals. I believe all men and women deserve safe, effective, and sensual products and scents. And so Brooklyn Grooming was born.”
Today, Mckenzie continues to live, work, and play in Brooklyn with her partner and son. “I have extremely high standards for Brooklyn Grooming. What we do today affects the future of my community and our entire world. I take every decision seriously and question how it will influence the way my customers look and feel about themselves, and how the earth will be impacted. We do not take shortcuts, and we never settle for anything shy of excellence.”
