    Poop is organic and goes back to the earth, shouldn't the bag you use do the same? BioBag® products are made without plasticizers or other additives. Unlike regular plastic, BioBag products are made from plants and vegetable oils and are 100% compostable. Each pack has 50 bags. WG note: We chose these bags because they're large enough for big dogs and aren't on a roll; sometimes on a role bags, tear or rip readily. It's easy to stuff a handful of these bags in your pants or jacket pocket on your next walk.

    Each pack has 50, 8" X 11.4" .9 mil bags.

    MATERIALS
    Bioplastic derived from the starches of plants, vegetable oils, and compostable polymers. Both Bag and Zipper are certified compostable.

    SOURCING
    Manufactured in Estonia says the box, however, BioBags' website says USA.

    ABOUT THE COMPANY 
    BioBag® is a world leader in providing bags and films for the collection of organic waste for the purpose of composting. Unlike regular plastic, BioBags can be consumed by micro-organisms that live in our soils. Because we use starches from renewable crops, our bags can be readily composted along with organic waste in municipal composting facilities.

    BioBag isn’t a large petroleum-based plastic bag company that now conveniently dabbles in the new business of compostable bags. We are a small, privately owned company dedicated to only producing certified compostable bags and films. The resin we use is sourced from Italy, as there is no “compostable resin” supplier in North America that can guarantee a resin that is based on GMO Free crops. The resin is then blown into compostable bags and film at our production facility in California. Little steps really do make a BIG difference - especially when creating products for the GREEN industry is all we do!

    Good Bags

    Excellent bags- easy to open, which is very important to me. And I especially like that they are biodegradable.

    It's weird enough that we follow our dogs around picking up their poo... we don't need bags to annoy us. Glad you like them. P.S. We have 2 dogs and it seems we are always picking up piles! Good thing these aren't plastic because we use so many!

    Love the standard-size bags! They're perfect for use on neighborhood walks with our 2 medium-sized dogs, and strong enough to handle multiple "scoops" in the same bag on the same walk 👍
